We are looking for academics (at all stages of their academic careers) to join our Peer Review College (PRC). Reviewers fulfill a vital function within the programme, ensuring that we are funding excellent research and being as inclusive as possible.

If you are an experienced reviewer then we do not anticipate it will be a demanding role in terms of time commitment and you will be providing a valuable contribution to the economic and social science research community.

If you are earlier in your academic career, joining the PRC presents the opportunity for you to better understand the peer review process and develop professionally.

We hope joining the PRC and being supported by the InterAct Co-directors in the review process will also help you when writing your own future proposals. As a member of the PRC you will be recognised publicly on our website. We would ask you to join the PRC for a maximum period of 24 months.  Each year we would call upon you to review no more than six submissions in total.

The involvement of peer reviewers in the review process is critical to ensuring a fair, transparent decision-making process for the funding of research. All our reviews will follow UKRI and ESRC procedures and align to clearly stated scoring criteria.

The next open call for commissioned research will launch early in summer 2022. We are currently seeking reviewers available to evaluate between two and four proposals each during September 2022. The process will be conducted using EasyChair online.

If you would like to volunteer as a reviewer, please email us at info@interact-hub.org with your contact details, institution, subject area, and confirmation you would like to be involved.
